YADRO boards are back in stock and Nick hopes to be back with an Internet connection soon. He has only just got a telephone at his new locationin deepest Bavaria.

4 Channel CNC Driver

Unknown • 21 Nov 2008 [09:01 UTC]

We are making progress on the 3Amp - 4 Channel Stepper Motor driver.

One of the changes we will implement is a different mains input module. One which is already wired for the switch and onlt provides three spade connections as the wiring behind the current option is rather tight to the transformer.

The driver will provide a single switched mains output for the spindle motor, and three or four stepper drivers. Spare connections to the brakout board will be brough out to a 9 way 'D' connector.

Price review - due to exchange rate shifts (Updated)

Unknown • 06 Nov 2008 [01:24 UTC]

With the drastic movements in the exchange rates, some of the product prices will have to be adjusted when new stock is aquired. At present all of the kit in stock has been paid for at the older rates. We have had to adjust the shipping costs a little since the current special delivery rate in the UK has gone up a lot in the last three years, and European and Overseas prices have moved as well. We hope to have the new 'shopping basket' working before the end of the year, and this will be a little tidier working out a shipping cost, but for the present we are stuck with the rather crude shipping options provided by the Paypal shopping basket.

The Kress spindle price has had to go up a little because of the euro, but the main increase is in the breakout boards which have had to have a £20 increase on the C11/C11G and £10 on the C1G due to the current exchange rate with the USA.

DivisionMaster back in stock!

Unknown • 20 Oct 2008 [07:55 UTC]

We now have a few DivisionMaster kits in stock, and are busy assembling a few more finished units. We took the opportunity to make a couple of modifications to the board, which will include a little more space around the wire connections to allow easier fitting of spade terminals, and a two pin connector to supply power to the Fan. This will make removing the PCB easier in future should it need repairing, and will also reduce the number of times the PCB has to be taken out because I forgot to solder the fan wires on. Fans will now be supplied with a two pin molex socker already assembled to them. The wires for the motor and power connectors are supplied unassembled, but an assembled set with the terminals already crimped can be supplied on request.

We are looking into providing a backlight display as an option. There is enough power available from the regulator, an a dropper resistor will fit into the spare hole next to the 100u capacitor, so no major modifications are requi…

GWR Steam & Vintage Rally 2008

Unknown • 12 Oct 2008 [11:21 UTC]

Took a little time off over the weekend and attended the GWR rally at Cheltenham Racecourse. Nice collection of both full size and miniature traction engines. Pictures are here  and I'll add a list of engines when I've tidied it up.

Breakout Boards Back in stock

Unknown • 24 Sep 2008 [07:52 UTC]

The C11, C11g and C1G breakout boards are now back in stock. In addition, we have added the C10 board which will be used to provide additional inputs when combined with a second parallel port on the computer. We hope to add a suitable PCI based parallel port card as well. This is intended to provide a connection to the encoders on the servo systems to provide positional feedback to Mach3.

CNC component shop

Lester Caine • 05 Aug 2008 [19:13 UTC]

With the growing stock of product relating to CNC conversion we are in the process of including all of the available items in the on-line shop. While this is quite practical for the smaller items, shipping of some of the heavier stuff will require more concideration and personal collection will always result in a demonstration of any of the parts being collected.

CNC Component Shop is the front line list and when taken in conjunction with the parts currently listed with the other product lists provides a growing range of useful equipment.

A number of the areas are still under development and as many of you know, this has been so for some conciderable time, but now progress is being made and we hope to have a full range of kits on the shelf before the Bristol show so that people can collect from there. Just let us know what you want and we will ensure that it is available.

Support as usual is via the various Yahoo g…
